The Politecnico di Torino (PoliTO), established in 1906, is a leading European university in engineering and architecture with strong industry collaborations. It has extensive experience in national and international research projects, with 568 funded projects, including 268 in Horizon 2020, securing €104 million in EU funding. POLITO coordinates GENMAT, leads project/technical management and dissemination activities, and contributes multiphysics FE and SHM modelling for composite structures, including UC5.

As well as our research programmes, we work directly with our Industrial Members through single client projects (SCPs) to provide solutions that directly assist the Member's business. TWI leads the UC3/UC4 coating demonstrations, providing expertise in PFAS-free and low/zero microplastic-release coatings, advanced characterisation, durability testing and industrial validation.

As one of the highest-ranked universities in the world and one of the top universities in Europe, Stockholm University (SU) is a leading research university. The Department of Chemistry, with more than 200 employees, is one of the largest departments at Stockholm University. The Research spans all areas of chemistry such as analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, materials chemistry, inorganic and structural chemistry and organic chemistry. The research projects are many from theory to experiment, from basic research to more applied projects often focusing on sustainable chemistry but also advanced analytical methods of organic and inorganic chemicals and materials. The department has a very well-developed research infrastructure with state-of-the-art equipment with qualified support from staff scientists. CircuLab is a new lab automation infrastructure platform at SU, supported by WISE for data-driven sustainable chemistry. SU contributes high-throughput polymer (UC1) and vitrimer synthesis (UC2), spectroscopy and structured experimental validation loops, supporting experimental data generation and data governance activities.

CUBIC is the software, interface and integration lead: it builds the GENMAT Workbench that lets materials scientists use the foundation model without deep coding, together with an SDK/CLI, use-case plug-ins, data-provenance and explainability views, and reproducible workflows.
